Proud to be the Mayor of Tunbridge Wells' Charity of the Year ,
alongside the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust Charity

We offer face to face advice in our offices at 94 Commercial Road in Paddock Wood, TN12 6DP, Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 1.30pm. We have private, ground floor, accessible rooms where we can discuss your concerns in confidence. We also offer advice via email (info@pwadvice.org) and phone calls (01892 838619) and/or you can fill out our Enquiry Form

Our advisers have appealed successfully at benefit tribunals against the Department of Work and Pensions’ decisions on many occasions. We support any individual who has a benefit need from an initial interview through applications and onwards to challenging awards and often overturning government decisions.

We strongly believe that our community needs to work together to provide a comprehensive advice service for those who live and work in Paddock Wood and surrounding areas. You can find us in the heart of Paddock Wood where we are available to help people living in Paddock Wood and neighbouring villages and towns.

Many problems do not go away, the sooner you ask, the sooner we can help. We aim to ensure that our clients leave our offices feeling empowered and aware of all options available to them.

Alongside our advice service enquiries, we also welcome applications to join our team either as a volunteer or as a paid member of staff.

HOW PADDOCK WOOD COMMUNITY ADVICE CENTRE
IS FUNDED

Our volunteer model enables us to keep our running costs to a minimum, but it still takes a considerable sum each year to run our Advice Centre. We are very grateful to Kent Community Foundation and Paddock Wood Town Council for their constant and significant contributions to our annual costs, but we also depend on donations from individuals, local parish councils and other funding bodies.

Last year, we accessed £1.2m of value for our clients, primarily by helping them access their welfare benefit entitlement or reduce their debts, and provided them with guidance on how to solve over a thousand issues. If you would like to contribute to our work, please contact our Senior Manager, at manager@pwadvice.org or donate via our Just Giving page.
