Every day we advise clients whose practical problems are made far harder to conquer because of their mental health issues. Whether you're living with a mental health problem or supporting someone else with a mental health problem, having access to the right information is vital.
Here, we have drawn together some of the resources which are available to local residents.
Urgent advice: Get advice from 111 or ask for an urgent GP appointment if you need urgent help:
You can access 111 online https://111.nhs.uk/triage/check-your-mental-health-symptoms or call 111 and select the mental health option. 111 will tell you the right place to get help.
A GP can advise you about helpful treatments and help you access mental health services. You may be able to refer yourself to some services.
